Melissa Boyce, Founder, Owner and Sparkplug!

Melissa BoyceMelissa specializes in implementing "Experience Training" and real life Business Development strategies that get results.

Melissa graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA with a Major in Communications.  Her objective was to change the world through communication.  Today, she changes the world one client at a time.

Melissa is a dynamic entrepreneur, coach and high energy speaker.   She is known for her innovative work with organizations.  Her motivational style, laced with humor, leaves her audience approaching situations with a never-before, fresh perspective, attitude and solutions focus.  Melissa is an expert in facilitation, strategic thinking, idea generation, sales and service training and empowerment.  She is able to help individuals and companies change the way they see themselves, embrace and live their brand.

Melissa is a wife to her best friend Travis and mama to Melissann and Forrest.  She loves the outdoors, hiking, camping and planning the family's next adventure.

 

She serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Southside Chapter of the American Red Cross as Treasurer.  Melissa invests her own time in promoting the economic development of her community be being a part of Virginia's Gateway Region and the Crater Workforce Investment Board.

Kim Allison-Lemmons, Consultant

Kim Allison-LemmonsKim's best compliment came from a client who said, "I told my daughter to strive to be like you…independent, driven, self motivated, and honest."  By drawing on Kim's 12 years experience in sales and marketing, she has helped her clients achieve success.  Her strong inner desire to succeed has made her a draw for many organizations throughout her career.  She has worked in sales and marketing including retail, television, radio, and newspaper.  She began her career in the wonderful world of credit unions with Liberty Check Printers in the year 2000.  She soon realized that the credit unions culture and desire to do what is right was not only the perfect fit for her, but an inspiration to live up to.  She has helped her clients with strategic planning, training, and product research as well as marketing.  Her attention to detail helps her to get the job done right the first time.  She also has helped her clients to better structure their activities to be more efficient through her ability to see the big picture and how little things affect it.

Ashley Owen Greene, Consultant

Ashley Owen Greene, ConsultantAshley specializes in networking and public relations which allows her to use her passion to create new business development energy in the marketplace for her clients.  She has over 15 years of successful marketing and development experience in the financial, travel, and nonprofit industries after two years of elementary school teaching. Ashley is well known for her strong leadership abilities, work ethic and dedication, and understanding of the commitment and innovation needed to grow in today's economy. Her goal is to ensure clients take away ideas and strategies they can immediately implement to improve their business bottom line.

Ashley serves on the Board of Directors for Suffolk 60 Care, Inc. as its current President Emeritus after two years as President of this community volunteer organization and one of its founding members.  She is President and Founder of SMART Women, a Suffolk empowerment and educational lunch and learn group, is a Rotarian in the downtown Suffolk Rotary Club and is on the local advisory committee of ForKids Suffolk House, the local emergency homeless shelter.  Ashley invests her time in promoting the economic development of her community as well as giving back through local volunteerism efforts, which also includes participation in Suffolk’s newly formed Community Action Coalition focusing on youth violence intervention and prevention through their “Be Fight Free (BFF)” Initiative.  She is a mother of four children, ages 10, 9, 7 and 5 and a wife of 14 years.

Lori Kawulok, Training, Speaking & Empowering

Lori KawulokLori is a gifted consultant, coach and dynamic speaker, working throughout the US and China.   She is known for her work with teams, improving employee morale through personal empowerment and sales and service training.  Lori is an expert in Culture Shift through sales and service training, strategic planning, organizational evaluation and re-organization as well as helping companies find their value and unique brand.   
Lori comes from an entrepreneurial family, and by the age of 18 she was managing payroll for her family’s business.  Lori worked for a large US credit unions (17 offices, $650 M assets) in charge of business development & marketing, helping them manage their unique brand, discovering their value and niche.   Lori served as a recruiter and trainer to the fortune 500 company IKON, and was brand management officer, successfully maintaining their world renown brand, and managing a team of trainers in Arizona.  IKON is studied throughout the US in marketing education programs for their turn around of their brand & image. 
Since 2004 Lori has consulted to companies throughout the US. Lori says, “I love helping organizations and people find out how valuable they are, and showing them what they're amazing at, allowing them to make better decisions to improve their lives and their organizations.  Happy People, Make Happy Consumers and Happy Consumers make Companies Successful!"

Lori lives in NC with her husband Kris and daughter Noelle.  She enjoys singing, writing and collaboration on new ventures.

Andrea Van Beek, Consultant

Andrea Van BeekAndrea's dedication and work ethic make her an asset to each client she interacts with.  She has a strong understanding of sales growth, business development and marketing initiatives.  Andrea began her career with credit unions through Liberty Enterprises in 2000 - the same company that Melissa Miesnik, CU Achieve's founder worked for.In 2004, due to the pressures of the check printing industry, Liberty decided to make a change in their direction and focus on banks - her choice was to stay involved with credit unions, continuing to assist them in meeting their goals and objectives in this very competitive marketplace.

She has enjoyed a wonderful career in sales, business development, marketing, and training, working with the complexities of larger companies like Sony, Microsoft, IBM and Brunswick.  She also had the opportunity to enjoy working with credit unions with asset sizes from $900M to under $10M focusing on all areas of their business including operations, marketing, and community/business development.  She is a mother of 14 year old twins and a wife of 25 years.  She is currently helping her clients reach their goals through a hands-on and comprehensive approach.

Heidi Windham, Consultant

Heidi WindhamHeidi has knowledge, passion, and commitment to the credit union movement. One of her biggest strengths is to enable credit unions to maximize the marketing potential within their unique (and sometimes very small) budgets. Heidi's career started with credit unions in 1996 as a Member Service Representative. Over the past 12 years she has worked for credit unions in South Carolina and North Carolina with marketing budgets ranging from $12,000 a year to $120,000 a year.  She has a broad range of experience in many areas of credit union operations, management and marketing.  Since 2007 she has began consulting to help a small credit union reach their full potential by branding and communicating effectively with their members.  She also served two years on the NC Marketing Council of Credit Unions and has worked closely with both the Western Chapter of Credit Unions in North Carolina and the Pee Dee Chapter of Credit Unions in South Carolina.  She is the mother of a 2 year old and a wife of 6 years.

Charles (Chuck) Zuver, Legislative Consultant

Charles ZuverServed as the Executive Vice President, Governmental Affairs for the Credit Union National Association and Affiliates.  He was responsible for CUNA’s federal lobbying program, regulatory affairs, political action and working with state credit union leagues and state governmental issues.

Prior to his appointment to CUNA, Chuck worked for the American Bankers Association for 18 years.  As Senior Legislative Counsel, he developed ABA policy on legislative and public affairs issues and carried out association programs in a number of key area; including deregulation, International Banking Act, bank bribery, money laundering and financial privacy. 

Zuver served for eight years on the staff of Senator Carl Hayden (D-AZ), President Pro-Tem of the Senate and Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee during the Kennedy-Johnson years.  He worked as staff assistant to Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson.  During which he worked as a senate law librarian and as legal analyst to the Congressional Research Service.

Mr. Zuver holds a B.A. degree in History from Franklin and Marshall College and a law degree from Georgetown University.

Skin Care Specialist & Coach. Noelle is a young fashionista who is known locally for her handbag designs and custom clothing. She is a Senior Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay and is passionate about fashion, good skincare and enjoying the skin you're in!

 

 


 

Diamelen Partridge, Team Member

DiamelenDiamelen has experience in all facets of the entertainment industry. She has worked for a variety of clients in couture and ready to wear runway markets in LA, NY, Paris and Japan. She has modeled on shows like “The View,” “The Other Half,” “Donnie & Marie.” She has been a fashion expert on shows like " Soap Talk"," Fox News", & "Good Day LA". She modeled in print ads, runway, music videos, & commercials. Diamelen has been a fashion show choreographer and director, pageant coach and judge for local and Miss Teen USA pageants. She has had students on "Married With Children"," Love Actually"," The Barbie Movie", commercials, winner of 2000 Elite Model, and Pan American Miss Universe 2nd runner up crown. Most recently she and her family appeared on "Trading Spaces" & the Travel Channel.
